2017-22 F Series Floor Vent Block Off plate For 1992-97 F series Interior Swap

The newer style dash does not have the same provisions for the side window defrost vents as the older (stock 9th generation F-Series Dash) has. The vent block off plate was specifically designed to seal off any possible airflow that would be able to leak past the shown portion of  the HVAC system. Since the blend doors are very old, the foam gaskets located inside no longer provide an adequate seal for them to be air tight.

The component is made of PET-CF, to ensure its reliability and high temperature resistance, perfectly suited for an AC system.

This of course is not required but is HIGHLY recommended in order to optimize airflow from your dash vents. The blower motors on these trucks are not the best to begin with.
